Video of Dancing ....we hope!

Well folks, we promised you a better quality video and you didn't get one! At least you got to see that traditional dance gets quite a high profile here in Montpellier, with the 2 hour long spectacular right in the central square. The crowd has 3 deep in places and the locals love the music. The Spanish contingent were especially appreciative.

It's important to realise the difference in the importance of the city square to the people, compared with Australia.  People come for all sorts of things and there is something on almost all of the time. The city is quite small, and there is a car park underneath the square, so people find it very easy to spend time there.

As for the video, we now have a mac computer which makes video production very much quicker and easier. The problem we still have is that the blog facility does not like the video produced on the Mac and takes days to process it.  I am playing with hundreds of different video formats and options to find the one it likes, so stay tuned for some much better footage.

Isn't it time you started asking us some questions about Montpellier, France, travel, food or anything else?

Must go now, as we are due at the English/French conversation meeting where much laughter results from Alan's attempts at French!
